Erratum

An errata was published on 24th January 2024 to correct Table A2.17. The PDF and HTML have both been updated within the document to reflect these changes.

The figures in Table A2.17 on pages 48 and 49 represent the best estimates at the time the 2024-25 Scottish Budget was published - 19 December 2023. This unfortunately did not reflect a decision to consolidate regeneration programme capital funding. Consequently, the following changes have been made to Table A2.17 to reflect this.

1. A new “Regeneration Programmes” budget line has been created, consolidating capital funding formerly listed as Clyde Gateway Urban Regeneration Company; the Place Based Investment Programme; the Regeneration Capital Grant Fund; and the Vacant & Derelict Land Investment Programme. This is shown in an updated Table A2.17, allocating £45.8 million for 2024-25.

2. This change necessitates the following adjustments in Table A2.17 on page 49:

a. The “Clyde Gateway Urban Regeneration Company” budget line has been removed.

b. The “Place Based Investment Programme” budget line has been removed.

c. The “Regeneration Capital Grant Fund” budget line has been removed.

d. The “Vacant & Derelict Land Investment Programme” budget line has been removed.

e. The 2024-25 “Total for Capital Funding within Other Portfolios” is amended to £328.2 million (corrected from £345.4 million).

f. The 2024-25 “Total for Local Government Funding Outwith the Core Settlement” is amended to £628.8 million (corrected from £646.0 million).

g. The 2024-25 “Overall Scottish Government Funding for Local Government” is amended to £14,511.9 million (corrected from £14,529.1 million).
