Water industry: Scottish Government Investment Group
Overview
The Scottish Government Investment Group (SGIG) ensures that the water industry is developing a sufficient programme of investment to meet the objectives that ministers set, and that the industry is delivering on these objectives. The group provides assurance to Scottish Ministers.
The SGIG was formed in September 2023 when it was agreed to merge the Delivery Assurance Group (DAG) and Investment Planning and Prioritisation Group (IPPG) into a single group.
We both chair and operate the SGIG. The group meets four times per year and operates at a strategic level.
