In April 2013 the gross median weekly earning for full-time employees in Scotland were £508.30, an increase of 2.1% over the year. Scotland’s median earnings were the third highest of the 12 UK countries and regions (with only London and the South East having higher average earnings). Across the UK, median full-time weekly earnings stood at £517.50 in 2013, an increase of 2.2% over the year.
