Quarterly Survey

The Scottish Government carries out a survey of Local Authorities asking for information on Eligibility Criteria and Waiting Times for social care services. From 2014 this will be collected anually for the quarter January to March of each year (this was previously collected each quarter).

The Quarterly Survey also collects data on Care Home residents and people receiving Free Personal & Nursing Care. The latest data is published annually as part of the FPNC publication:

Quarterly - Data Under Development

The paper below presents analysis of the data collected in each quarter from January/March 2010 to October/December 2010. It also details the results of a questionnaire issued to Local Authorities, these results were used to identify differences in collection methodologies and gaps in the guidance. More recent data is available above.
