Scottish Retail Sales Index – main findings
Retail sales in Scotland increased by 0.8% in volume terms during the second quarter of 2015.
On an annual basis, comparing the latest quarter to the same quarter of the previous year (2015 Q2 on 2014 Q2), retail sales volumes grew by 2.4%.
The value of Scottish retail sales, without adjusting for inflation, during the second quarter of 2015 increased by 0.6% from the previous quarter, and was unchanged (0.0% growth) annually.
