Homicide in Scotland, 2014-15

In 2014-15, there were 59 cases of homicide involving 59 victims. This represents a decrease of 2 victims from 2013-14. There were 77 persons accused of homicide in Scotland in 2014-15.

In 2014-15, 75% of the victims of homicide were male, and 91% of those accused of homicide were male. The majority of male (60%) and female (93%) victims were killed in a dwelling.
