ScotStat is a network for users and providers of Scottish Official Statistics. It aims to improve communication amongst those interested in particular statistics and facilitate the setting up of working groups on specific statistical issues.

Summary data for cultural engagement, participation and attendance

The Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation identifies small area concentrations of multiple deprivation across all of Scotland in a consistent way

Urban Rural
The Scottish Government Urban Rural Classification provides a standard definition of rural areas in Scotland

Equality Evidence Finder
The equality evidence finder shows which business areas have equality evidence (age, gender, disability, ethnicity etc) available

Major population surveys
Major population surveys are designed to capture information across a range of business areas that is difficult to capture by other means such as administrative data sources (e.g. GP registrations is data that is likely to be available whereas views of patients about their GP is not)
