Theme 3: Technologies and management tools to deliver greater benefits from rural land use and increased resilience to change
The purpose of this Theme is to provide evidence of how Scotland's environment might respond to predicted changes in climate and land use, and how multiple benefits can be delivered from land use in the context of these changes. The work will help inform strategies for mitigation and adaptation to climate and other change, including approaches to soil management, protecting and enhancing biodiversity, coping with extreme weather events and limiting erosion.
