Scottish Procurement’s ICT Team is pleased to announce a series of topical webinar events which will take place during the next few months. Webinars will take place in September, November and January and will be led by a host discussant who is an expert in their field. Webinars will include a 30 minute presentation on the featured topic and will be followed by the opportunity for attendees to take part in a live Question and Answer session. Webinars are open to individuals in the Scottish Public Sector.
The first webinar in the series will take place on 23 September 2015 at 11:00 and will focus on “Emerging Trends in the Digital and Technology Markets” delivered by Tommy Laughlin, ScotlandIS.
We are all digital consumers but we are also responsible for defining, procuring and delivering digital technologies and services. The pace of change in the digital and technology markets is accelerating and we see the impact of those changes every day. In this short webinar Tommy Laughlin of ScotlandIS will look at some of the big changes we can expect to see in the digital and technology markets in the next 18-24 months and beyond. The webinar will also examine some of the challenges faced in meeting the future demand for technical skills and how organisations such as ScotlandIS are addressing these.
