Scottish Procurement is delighted to announce its new Director of Procurement and Commercial at the Scottish Government as Ainslie McLaughlin.
Following Alastair Merrill’s recent departure to take up a new role, Ainslie joins Scottish Procurement and Commercial Directorate from the executive agency, Transport Scotland. He will take up his new role later this month.
Finance Director General, Alyson Stafford, welcomed the new appointment:
"Ainslie joins [us] from his current role as Director, Major Transport Infrastructure Projects (MTRIPS) at Transport Scotland and therefore brings a wealth of commercial experience with him. I know he is very much looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that this new role will bring."
As such, there will be no ‘Director’s’ Letter for this month, however this will resume as normal in April, once the new Director is in post.
