PAW Scotland Scientific Sub-Group

The PAW Scotland Scientific Sub-group was created to monitor and discuss developments in science which can aid the investigation and enforcement of wildlife crime in Scotland.

Chair - Dr. Colin SheddenDr Colin Shedden - Chair of PAW Scotland Scientific Sub-Group

Colin Shedden is currently the Scottish Director for the British Association for Shooting and Conservation.  He has a zoology degree and Ph.D. from Glasgow University (applied behavioural ecology) and has also carried out research on seabirds and deer management in Scotland.  He was a member of SHN’s Scientific Advisory Committee and a past board member of the Deer Commission for Scotland.
