Energy Jobs Taskforce

Scotland’s Energy Jobs Taskforce is a strong partnership of industry, public sector and trade union representatives which formed early 2015 to help tackle the immediate challenges facing the energy sector. Chaired by Scottish Enterprise Chief Executive Lena Wilson, the Taskforce meets quarterly and reports to the Scottish Energy Advisory Board.

The Taskforce aims to:

  • retain and grow the talent and skills in the industry;
  • identify and implement support to people who are facing redundancy;
  • enhance partnership and collaboration.

Further details on the Taskforce’s membership, remit and forthcoming minutes can be found below:

Get involved.  The Taskforce would like to hear from all relevant parties with a contribution to make to delivering the aims of the Taskforce.

The Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) is the Scottish Government's initiative dedicated to providing support to people facing redundancy. Call the PACE helpline on 0800 917 8000 for advice on the full range of PACE services or visit My World of Work.
