Addenda / Errata

August 2023

An errata was published on 02/08/2023 as a result of changes on in Chapters 1, 3 and 7 relating to updated procurement threshold values. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

September 2022

An errata was published on 07/09/2022 as a result of changes to paragraph 9.3 of chapter 8. This update reflects changes to the Public Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2015. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

September 2021

An errata was published on 21/09/2021, as a result of a number of changes made throughout Chapter 8. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

August 2021

An errata was published on 31/08/2021 as a result a number of changes have been made throughout Chapters 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 and 9. The changes are as follows:

Chapter 1

The changes made reflect amendments to procurement legislation as a result of the UK withdrawal from the European Union. These changes are largely technical and do not change the fundamental procedures and processes for advertising and awarding public contracts. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

Chapter 2

The changes are on PDF pages 4 and 5 to section 6.1. The change made is the inclusion of ‘as built quality assurance procedures’ to the list of areas which may be covered in the strategic brief. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

Chapter 3

The changes made reflect amendments to procurement legislation as a result of the UK withdrawal from the European Union. These changes are largely technical and do not change the fundamental procedures and processes for advertising and awarding public contracts. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

Chapter 5

Changes were made on PDF page 28 to Figure 12, paragraph 16.3. The change made is a caveat to note that traditional may be suitable for complex projects if it is a two stage procurement. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

Chapter 7

The changes made reflect amendments to procurement legislation as a result of the UK withdrawal from the European Union. These changes are largely technical and do not change the fundamental procedures and processes for advertising and awarding public contracts. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

Chapter 8

The changes made were are primarily to introduce a new section on sustainable tender pricing (page 3 section 2) and a change to the procedure for stage 1 where median rather than average price is used to calculate whether a tender might be abnormally low and require further investigation (pages 7 – 9 Section 7). The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

Chapter 9

The changes made reflect amendments to procurement legislation as a result of the UK withdrawal from the European Union. These changes are largely technical and do not change the fundamental procedures and processes for advertising and awarding public contracts. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

September 2020

Chapter 3

An errata was published on 14/09/2020 as a result of changes on PDF pages 3, 4, 5 , 7, 9 and 10 of Chapter 3. The changes made were the replacement of Figure 2 and Annex A with updated versions, a new bullet point added to Paragraph 4.3 and the adding of hyperlinks to text referencing other chapters of this handbook. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

Chapter 6

An errata was published on 14/09/2020 as a result of changes on PDF pages 2, 3, 4, 7, 9 and 12 of Chapter 6. The changes made were small edits to text in paragraphs 1.2, 1. And 1.4, a new section “Use of CPR1” and the adding of hyperlinks to text referencing other chapters of this handbook. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.

Chapter 5

An errata was published on 03/09/2020 as a result of changes on PDF page 38 of Chapter 5 The changes made were the addition of text in the right hand column of the first row of the table in section 23.6. HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect this changes.

May 2019

An addenda was published on 03/05/2019 as a result of a change within Chapter 7, paragraph 6.13. Both the full document pdf and individual Chapter 7 pdf, and the html have been updated to reflect this change.

March 2019

An addenda was published 26/03/2019 due to the addition of content for Chapter 5 (previously unavailable at initial publication)

An errata was published 26/03/2019 due minor alts to Chapter 7.

January 2019

An addenda was published Thursday 31/01/2019 due to the addition of content for Chapter 2 (previously unavailable at initial publication) and stylistic changes to the layout of Chapter 1 pdf. The html and pdfs have been updated and replaced to reflect these changes.
